The Battle Against CRT is Heating Up
As the fight against Critical Race Theory gains momentum, parents, legislators, and other leading cultural voices across the nation are making headlines for their statements against CRT and other anti-American ideologies.
In Florida, for example, Governor Ron DeSantis proposed banning Critical Race Theory from the Florida curriculum, saying, “teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money.”
In an article for City Journal earlier this month, Bari Weiss wrote about how parents at some of America’s most elite private schools are organizing a secret resistance against the “miseducation” of their children. The far-left propaganda isn’t just upsetting parents – it’s forcing students to live in fear of one another.
But don’t let that good news make you think that this battle is over. Just last week, Columbia University announced that it would be holding racially segregated graduation ceremonies.
Stanley Kurtz, meanwhile, another leading opponent of CRT who you are likely to hear more from us on in the coming weeks and months, outlined “the greatest educational battle of our lifetimes” in an article for National Review.
